Listen to what our customers have to say…

My garage door motor had gone out.  I purchased a new garage door opener thinking I should replace it myself.  After removing the old garage door opener I realized it was more complex then I had anticipated.  I read good reviews for All Pro so I called them and scheduled an appointment.  They showed up on time, were very professional, and completed the job promptly.  What I was most impressed with is the fact that they only needed to replace a few components that i had removed (motor and arm); however, instead they replaced every component with the new parts that came with the garage door opener I had purchased (including the cables and sensors), very thorough!

— Matt T.

Everything is working fine now.  They came when they were supposed to come.  They did what they were supposed to do.  They were clean and they were polite. They cleaned up very well which was important to me. They swept up and took all the old parts and boxes away, which were greatly appreciated, and they were on their way. They were punctual and I would use them in the future.  I consider their price was fair.

Rick, the estimator, was on time, knowledgeable, & no hard selling. The door was installed as promised 3 days after placing the order. Jamie, the installer, is a real pro who takes pride in his workmanship and did a great job.

— Paul K.

The service person was very professional, and also helped me with an unrelated electrical problem.

— Virginia Y.

The garage door spring had become detached from the garage wall and the door could not be raised. The repair consisted of attaching a block of wood to the wall studs and then attaching the spring to the block. He also re-tensioned the cables and oiled the hinges and spring. The service was done quickly and the garage door is now functioning fine.

— Bill L.

Called around and got several quotes – All Pro was in the middle. Thought the All Pro user comments, on Angie’s list, most closely aligned with the work I needed done, and the posted comments were positive. With-in two hours, crew showed up and replaced the spring, in a quick, efficient manner. They also lubricated the rails and the opener twist gear. Would use them again.

— Lawrence G.

I originally purchased my garage door from All-Pro over 10 years ago. I have had two repairs by them and both went very well. I highly recommend this company.

— Robyn B.

All-Pro fixed the garage door I had bumped into with my car. The main bar across the garage door was replaced as well as 2-3 hinges. Now the garage door runs better than before I ran into it.

— Ingrid S.

Superb phone service when asking advice as to what the problem might be. Responsive to my questions. Very professional. Would recommend and use again without hesitation.

— Debbie K.

I have used them twice recently for service calls. The first time was to adjust the door. I had someone else out and they did not do a good job, which All Pro they fixed. He came out again when one of the sensors had failed.Member Comments: Overall, the services have gone well. He was very timely and prompt with fixing the door right away, knew exactly what was wrong.

–John MC.

I called All Pro to get a quote and set up an appointment for repair on my door opener springs. I was given a price and then an appointment for the next day. Dave called to let me know he was on his way, and he showed up within the time slot I was given. He was very cordial, professional, and went right to work replacing the springs, after confirming the price I had been quoted. He was fast, efficient, and cleaned up completely after the job was done. Excellent service. I recommend this company highly.

— Richard R.

Our 17 year old garage door had never been serviced since installation. Many self-tapping screws had fallen out, and the noise was substantial. All Pro gave us a quote by phone, including and Angie’s List discount, showed up, and did the job. Quick and easy. That’s how it should be. The improvement in the garage door is substantial.

I called the office at 7.30 am on a Monday and received a quote which seemed reasonable from quotes for similar work described on Angie’s List and I accepted. Service was scheduled for 12.30 pm the same day. The technician, Jamie, arrived close to the scheduled time and got straight to work and completed the replacement of the springs, adjustments, and lube in less than an hour. I said we had had a problem with the remotes not activating the drive unit consistently and he quickly traced this to what appeared to be loose or disconnected wiring in the controller. All in all, Jamie was very efficient, personable and courteous to me and my wife. We would certainly use this company again.

— Gerald B.

My spring broke so I called All-Pro,they basically said that if they did not have the spring, they could order it. They ended up having the part on their truck. Overall, the experience went very well. They were very nice and came when they said they were going to come.

— Janet K.

Dave showed up on time with a smile and quickly fixed our garage door. (just needed a good lube) He was kind to my children and dog who were all entertained by his work. The job was done in less than 30 minutes and the door works great!Oscar J. Replaced 2 springs on one door and 1 spring on a smaller door. All the same day. Quick and fine job. Just as he talked about  no up-selling or extras. I recommend him to anyone for a spring replacement.

— Julie C.

All Pro came out and fixed our metal garage door that had come off the tracks. They came out the same day that I called, within a few hours of my call, which was great since the door was stuck in the open position. The people I spoke to on the phone and the technician who came to our house were all very courteous and helpful. They really helped us out in a jam! It was a very good experience. I was very happy with the process start to finish of calling to get info, set up an appointment and getting the work completed. I would definitely use them again.

— Patricia Z.

Dave from All Pro came at the appointed time and put in a temporary spring so that we could open and close the garage door until he could come back with the correct spring. He also oiled and made adjustments so that the door would work more smoothly. At the follow up appointment, Dave came on time and finished the work in less than 30 minutes.

— Vivian S.

All-Pro repaired our garage door which was dented, cable was wound incorrectly and door would not close, creating a problem of potential theft. Their work was excellent. The repairer was on time, re-arranged his schedule to conform with my time constraints, worked quickly and did a rather extensive repair in just half an hour. He answered questions I had, tried to fix a problem with the remote opener in my car and provided estimates on future work. Very well done.

— Linda J.

Their service call price was more reasonable than the other two places I had called. They were also able to come out earlier than they had promised. The guy I dealt with, Dave, was very professional and did some extra sorts of things to service the garage door and evaluate it. Overall, it was a very good experience and it only took him about 40 minutes. He did the job and was off and on his way. I would definitely use him again.

— Arnie Z.

The technician was punctual and professional. He replaced my single tension spring with two new springs and explained it would allow me to still open the door if one spring was to break. He also inspected the whole garage door system and did some minor adjustments and removed an incorrect bolt left from the previous installer. Very quick short notice same day service. Price quoted on the phone was exact price I paid when work was complete. Great experience overall.

— Ronald C.

Quick and easy. Friendly representative on the phone gave me straightforward information and an accurate estimate. I couldn’t be home when the installer was due to arrive, so I made arrangements to leave my garage door open for him. When I returned home, the installer was just finishing up with the job. Everything looked good.

— Devra N.

Our garage door was opening and closing by itself. I called ALL PRO QUALITY GARAGE DOORS Inc. about the problem. Paul, one of the guys in the office said that the remote controller may need an adjustment. He graciously guided me thru adjusting the controller, which took only a brief moment. The adjustment to the controller solved the problem. There was no charge for his help. I appreciate the helpfulness that could have been a profitable service call for him.

— Allan W.

The technician arrived on time. He was professional and pleasant and worked quickly. Door opener works good and, for a chain drive opener, is quieter than our original one. I had a coupon so that was a plus.

— Maria B.

The appointment was scheduled and took place in a week’s time. When I mentioned Angie’s List on the phone he promptly adjusted the estimate with the coupon. I was given a half hour time slot, and the repairman called before his prompt arrival. The repairman was pleasant and professional. He balanced and adjusted the door. He lubed it and took the time to show me where to lube it too.

— Diana B.

I called one morning, Mike came out in the afternoon to do an estimate, then Dave arrived the next morning to do the above described work. All went very smoothly.

— Carolyn C.

Service person arrived right when indicated. When he arrived both garage doors did not open correctly and one did not close correctly. In addition they were running un-smooth. Service person lubed parts, balanced both doors, and adjusted tracks. He then tested both doors a handful of times. Both garage doors are now opening and closing smoothly.I would use them again. This is the first time I have had the garage doors adjusted and I have been in the house close to 5 years and the doors have never worked better so I expect the doors not to need adjusting for quite a while.

— Marc L.

All Pro performed a tune up my double steel sectional garage door and Genie screw drive opener, which was squeaking and “bouncing” to the point that it took about seven iterations yesterday to actually make the door stay closed. The technician replaced the limit switch, tightened the hardware, lubricated the moving parts, adjusted force controls and fixed the bent track.they also honored the Angie’s List coupon for $20.I should have called All Pro months ago before I started dragging out the ladder to make adjustments myself. People on the phone were extremely easy to talk with about my “it’s not really broken, but it’s entirely unreliable” problem. After I called at 11 am, they booked an appointment for the same day for 3 to 3:30 arrival, which worked well with my schedule. The office called shortly before 1 pm to let me know the tech was running about 1 hr behind, so couldn’t arrive before 4 pm. The change worked well for me, so I ran a few more errands. Right after 4pm, the office called again to let me know the tech was by the garage in my alley — great move, considering I have dogs too excited about people coming to the front door. The tech was professional, courteous, quick and didn’t comment about all the garage junk he had to work around. This was a very easy transaction, which I should have done sooner, the door works like new!!

— Kathie B.

They installed a new garage door opener with 3 remotes for our 2 car garage door. They had done a repair on the garage door opener in the past. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They provided same day service and cleaned up well. I would recommend All Pro Garage Doors.

— Maryann S.

We initially went to the company’s showroom on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. to select the style of door we wanted. They were very helpful and explained each style of door and had several full size samples in the showroom. The estimator showed up on time and gave us an estimate that I found reasonable since I had already done quite a bit of research on the Internet. The day of the installation, the worker (I believe his name was Mike) showed up on time, and did great work. He removed and disposed of the old wooden door and replaced it with an automatic roll up door. They also replaced some of the wood around the garage door opening that had rotted away. After he was done, he took the time to explain everything to us. Even though it was a hot day and he had spent the whole day working, when he was done he took the time to explain how everything worked, how to maintain it and answered all of our questions. He did not act like he was in a big hurry even though I know he must have been tired and wanted to leave. His biggest concern seemed to be that we were satisfied. I would use this company again. They did a professional job and had great customer service.

— Elva G.

They did a very good job, very prompt and fair with the quote. Spent a lot of time giving us information. Very knowledgeable. Worker arrived on time and finished the same day.

— Rebecca N.

My wooded garage door was wearing out, so I had this company install a new steel sectional double size garage door. They have many styles and colors to choose from. Then they came out to remove my old wooden garage door and install a brand new double door. They changed the springs and also altered the garage door frame just to make it fit perfectly. Afterwards, they hooked up the garage door opener. Very pleased with the workmanship.

— Emily F.

They were the most competitive of the bids. One of the doors was back ordered, they called the day of the original instal date to inform me, but rescheduled. The sales rep and the installers were very professional and helpful.

— Deborah C.

Not only did they install our new garage door, they hauled away the old one. They were extremely clean and made sure all of our questions were answered before they left. Our technician was excellent.

— Diana W.

Door came off track bending the bracket. Replaced hardware, adjusted chain and reset speed and height. Very helpful and seemed to show me he was trying to make an honest living.

— Cory R.

Did a great job replacing our old garage door with a nice one, at a reasonable price.

— Lila S.

They were very good. They did a very nice job all the way through. The price was good. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Garage door tune-up. Replaced rollers. Adjusted left side rail and spring for easier operation.
Tech did a great job. Very professional. My door is still working good.

–Angel A.
I called 3 garage door companies to give me quotes on replacing a garage door that was opening “on its own”.    All-Pro understood the problem and diagnosed what was causing it (the other two companies did not).  They gave me a price over the phone (one company refused to do so and would only give me an estimate if they came out — for which they would charge me).  I wanted a specific brand of equipment, which they stocked and installed.  I thought I needed a 3/4 hp motor, but they explained a 1/2 hp motor would be more than adequate (also less expensive).  Another company just gave me a price for a 3/4 hp, and didn’t inquire into my needs.  I was impressed with All-Pro’s knowledge of the current brand I had, the problems this particular brand had experienced in the past, and my need for increased security.  They scheduled the installation for a date reasonably quickly.  The installation was smooth and professional.  I would highly recommend this company.

I called All Pro early the next morning and spoke to Jamie. He was able to come out THAT same morning and repaired the door. What TERRIFIC service! Additionally, there was a small mistake on the amount charged to my credit card and the owner Paul promptly called me to correct the problem. Great job!!!

I backed into our garage door and bent the hinge on one side.  Another company said I would have to replace the entire garage door ($1500).  But Dave found a way to fix it for $70, which was perfect!
Dave came out soon after I called, assessed the situation, and fixed it on the spot.  He did explain that I could buy new door/hinges if I wanted, but was more than willing to just repair it.He also made sure the tracks were well-adjusted.

–Michelle R.

Dave, the technician had to move a lot of moving boxes before he could even begin the repair.  He replaced the springs on the door and put the boxes back in their place all in approximately thirty minutes.  I was impressed.
Everyone I talked to on the phone and the technician who did the repair were very professional and friendly.  I will definitely use their services again.

Our garage door opener was not dependable.  My husband called All Pro and a serviceman came out the same day.  He was professional in dress, manner, and knowledge.  He had to get a part and returned the next day.  In all, he installed a new garage door opener, repaired another garage door, and programed our existing garage door openers so that we could use one opener
to open two different door whereas we had been using two openers.  I may have given too much detail, but the main point is that both garage doors open now and I am very happy.
–Jan C.

One of my garage door spring broke so I called Access Garage Doors over the weekend first. They told me their tech would call me up but they NEVER did.So I called All Pro Quality Doors and was able to set an appointment without any problem and the service technician came and fixed everything for me. I also got the rubber lining under the garage door replaced.I am pretty happy with the service. I will call use them again for my other house that might need some garage door repairs in the future.

-Robert T.

I just brought a new home and needed the garage door opener replaced.  I am an impatient person so, I called All Pro Quality Garage Doors asked if they could send a person out as soon as possible, they sent Dave who arrived 5:00pm the  same day.  I was impressed, but not yet sold.  Dave arrived and provided me a full range of choices.  But, what “sold me” was his knowledge of openers and his honesty both pro’s and con’s of each.  Negative point – I was surprise the company did not provide light bulbs for the opener.  Overall great job!

–Yukiko G.

My garage door was installed in 1999 and had never been serviced.  The problem was that it did not open completely during cold weather.     I described the situation and he lubed and greased all the moving parts and tightened the spring.
Dave called before he arrived and arrived on time.  He answered all my questions.  The Angie’s list coupon was honored.
–Kristina S.
After 10 years the garage door springs had broken. So I went to the All Pro showroom to receive pricing on a spring repair. Ended up replacing the entire garage door unit. Spoke with Rick, very knowledgeable and not pushy with sales. Set up an estimate, made sure I was aware of all charges and options available to me.
Called the next day and set up an install date and time. Door was installed within a week. The installer was quick, knowledgeable and  courtesy. Overall, completely satisfied with the job performed and would recommend this company again.
–Molly W.
They’re very nice & good. I’ve been told before that my ceiling was too low to accommodate an automatic garage door. However, this technician came out & told me, no it’s possible but just a lot harder! They came out & did a very good job. One person came out & spent all day in my garage working on the installation. They even came back the next morning when I had a problem with the automatic key unlock feature & showed me how to use it properly. They were very responsive.

My old Lift-Master garage door opener started making loud noise. So I decided to replace it with Lift-Masters Elite Series 3850 DC Motor Belt Drive Opener with battery backup. I called and got quotes from several garage door companies which had received good reviews on Angie’s List. I was very impressed by Paul, the owner of the company, who answered my call and was very knowledgeable about the Lift-Master products. His quote was reasonable as well. So I decided to hire Paul’s company to do the job.
Paul sent Dave to install the opener for me. Dave called me 45 minutes before he arrived to give me time to get home. Dave removed the old opener and installed the new opener very professionally. The new opener was very quiet. I was very pleased with the work Dave had done.
After we had used the new opener for a couple of weeks, my wife noticed that there was always a loud noise when the garage door was initially lifted by the opener. Then the opener opened and closed the garage door smoothly and quietly. I called Paul who sent Dave to take a look at the issue in the same day. Dave arrived even before I got home. He checked the door and told me that the noise had nothing to do with the new opener. Dave adjusted the metal piece holding the door to reduce the noise. The service was free of charge.
I have worked with several garage door companies in the past. This was by far the best garage door company. Paul was a very nice guy. Dave was the best technician whom I have ever worked with. He was professional, polite, and very helpful. I recommend All-Pro Quality Garage Door highly.
–Michael L.
Our garage door stopped opening.  So we needed it fixed.
We have a premium wood garage door  installed by Access Garage Doors years ago.  Naturally, when it stopped opening we called Access to fix it. They wanted to charge us $100 just to come to our house and look at the problem.  The fixes, they explained would run into the thousands of dollars.  We just didn’t believe it so we called All-Pro, Dave from All-Pro diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes.  Besides a standard service tune-up on the springs and hinges, we needed a small piece of plastic that would cost less than $3.  30 minutes later our door was working like new.  And the total cost (with an Angie’s List coupon) was only $80.
Their work was OUTSTANDING, fast, and economical.  HIGHLY recommended.
I called in thinking that I needed a new garage door opener, as we had recently purchased an older home and had been having problems with the garage door remote. I tried replacing the battery, which didn’t help, then I tried buying a new remote, but my husband was unable to program it correctly. We had assumed my garage door opener was extremely old from the looks of my remote, so we thought our only alternative since he couldn’t program the remote was to replace the garage opener. Turns out my garage door opener is not nearly as old as I thought and the gentleman who answered the phone at this company told me while I was on the phone exactly what I needed to do to properly program my new remote. He could have made out like I needed a new garage opener, but he didn’t, and saved me HUNDREDS of dollars. Thank you!!!

This garage door opener service company is a real breath of fresh air for us homeowners.  I called this company after finding them on Angie’s List , and spoke with Paul, its owner/operator.  After speaking with him over a few phone calls, he quickly explained that the screw drive traveler (or the steel beam platform that connects to and moves the garage door) was probably stripped out from nearly 12 years of use.  I asked him how much a site visit by his repairman would cost, he said nearly $80.   But, what happened next was indeed unique: he proposed that I buy the part off the shelf and he would tell me how to fix the garage door myself!
Well, since I have been out of work for most of this year so far, and money is tight, I took him up on his proposal.  I drove to his Kearny Mesa storefront, and he showed me on a mockup display, just what to unbolt, move and replace to get the new traveler in place.  After buying the part, I headed for home.
After finding a friend to stand on a ladder at the motor end of the screw drive garage door drive beam as a safety precaution, I removed the one bolt holding on the end of the beam that attached it to the wall support.  I slide the traveler all the way toward this bolt location but it would not come off.  So I tried lifting the beam higher and sideways but that did not work either.  I noticed that that whoever installed the unit, ran the drive’s beam too close to the large lifting door spring so it could not clear it.
So, I remembered that the original installers had hung the motor end with plumber’s tape extensions (real stupid) but I replaced them with heavy duty rigid A-frame struts.  So, I realized the only direction left to move the beam to get the traveler off the beam was inline with the beam itself.  So with my friend pulling the beam toward the motor end, I got the last 1/2″ of clearance to remove and replace the traveler.  Success!  My garage door works like new again!
Thanks to Paul for all of his repair pointers and helping out a homeowner.
Next time I have a garage door opener problem, the next phone call is to Paul at All-Pro Quality Garage Doors!
–Gavin M.
I recently moved and returned to my previous home for general maintenance.  I closed the door and one spring broke.  I raised the door with difficulty to get my car out and drive home. I scheduled a spring replacement with All Pro the next week when I planned to return to the home. All Pro called me to confirm their arrival in 20 minutes, and arrived few minutes prior to schedule. They replaced the springs and lubricated the door rollers. Although the opener worked properly for many years it did not function properly when tested after the repair.  All Pro adjusted the stops and cleaned the contacts which corrected the problem. The job took approximately one hour.
